Global Warming, Earth is Warning!
In recent months many countries in the EU have suffered the effects of climate change. Alternating from devastating floods to uncontrollable rogue fires and destructive winds, the variation in the weather is undeniable. Land and ecosystems have been destroyed and many people’s livelihoods have been damaged. Farmers lost their animals, crops etc which their lives depend on.
We intend to bring the reality of climate change to the attention of our students and the effect it is having on the areas in which they and their partners live. English will be used for research and as a tool for communication among partners. Students will acquire global skills while learning about neighbouring cultures and strengthen their language skills.
Carefully planned activities will help students reflect upon the future of the planet and necessary lifestyle changes. The same activities will be organised so that partners communicate and collaborate with each other in order to create a final product.
